Back of the Week
Caleb Mitchell, Parkview, QB. The senior was 20 for 26 good for 424 yards and 7 TDs in a victory over a new region opponent in Lakeside High School. Mitchell and the Panthers are 4-2 thus far on the year with a real shot for the playoffs. They have a tough stretch ahead with 4 straight region games. Mitchell may hang his cleats up at the end of the year and pick up his spikes as he has accepted a scholarship to play baseball at Mercer when he graduates. There is something about quarterbacks and baseball players at Parkview. For his efforts on Friday October 7th, 2016 – Caleb Mitchell is our Back of the Week.
