Lineman of the Week
Justin Shaffer, Cedar Grove, O-line/D-line 6’5″ 340 lbs.
In a very important Region 5-AAA game on Friday September 16, 2016 for the Cedar Grove Saints, Justin Shaffer was a force. Helping to lead the way to victory, Shaffer on offense graded out at 93% with 7 pancakes while on defense he graded out at 89% with 7 tackles, 3 TFLs, and 2 sacks. Justin showed heart and a big-time motor on BOTH sides of the ball. A starter since ninth grade for head man Jimmy Smith, Shaffer is set to take his talents to UGA next fall. For the incredible game Shaffer had, he has been awarded as the Touchdown Club of Atlanta’s Lineman of the Week.
