Coach of the Week

Mark Adams, Druid Hills. They are 3-2 on the year. This past Friday they beat Dunwoody 28-7 for the first time in many, many years. First, some perspective for those who are unfamiliar with Druid Hills: In addition to being Ted McMullen’s alma mater, Druid Hills has been playing football since 1932. Since 1950, Druid Hills has had 13 winning seasons. To state the obvious, this is a challenging place to win. They have 4 region games remaining on the schedule. A .500 final record is very realistic – if this happens, it will be the first .500 season since 1993. We wish Coach Adams the best of luck the remainder of the way.
