Marvin Hurst, Waycross
Marvin hurst was a part of Waycross High School’s best two year run. Winning back to back state titles in 1960 & 1961, Hurst was a key member of both teams. In his high school career, he would rush for 4,058 yards and 57 touchdowns. Marvin would go on to UGA and earn three letters under Johnny Griffith and Vince Dooley. He was inducted into the Waycross sports Hall of Fame in 1988.
