Back of the Week
Spencer Ashley, Cherokee High School QB 6’1″ 200 lbs. Last Friday threw for 436 & 4 TDs on 21-of-33 passing in a 42-21 victory over Woodstock. It was his second consecutive game of more than 430 yards passing. He was named Cherokee County’s Athlete of the Week for his performance earlier this year on August 29th when he threw for 300 yards on 19 of 28 attempts and ran for 103 yards on 7 carries against North Forsyth. As of now, he is not getting a lot of recruiting interest – hopefully with the numbers he is putting up – and with a little publicity from us – he can drum up some more interest.
