Higgins and the Spartans trailed region foe and top 10 ranked Pace Academy 13-12 Friday night before Higgins and the Spartan defense took over. The end result was a seconds half shutout and a 33-13 victory for G.A.C. Ford led the defense totaling 9 tackles, 4 TFLs, two sacks – and – led graded out near the top of the G.A.C. offensive lineman. Playing all out on both sides of the ball is what being a Spartan is all about,. Watching game film of the Senior, he plays physical with full effort and plays to the whistle.
